Garrison’s guest in this segment is Kaitlin Roig-Debellis, the first grade teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School who saved her entire class of fifteen 6 & 7 year old children from the tragic events that took place on December 14^th 2012.  An inspirational speaker, Kaitlin was named Glamour Woman of the Year and L’Oreal Paris Woman of Worth. She’s received two honorary doctorates and the Dedicated Teacher Award from the Chicago International Conference on Education. Her book, Choosing Hope, has been a bridge for readers to move forward from life’s darkest hours.
