A shout out to moms! LinkedIn is recognizing your hard work by making its social network more inclusive for stay-at-home parents. It’s official: “stay-at-home mom” and “stay-at-home dad” are new LinkedIn job titles!LinkedIn is also changing its requirement that jobs need to be linked to a company or employer that will modernize its profile editing options and encourage transparent dialogue about employment gaps. This could also help set the stage for improvements in company leave policies and work arrangements that better support primary caregivers. And aside from job titles, LinkedIn will now also allow users to include an “employment gap” option that shows if they are on “personal leave” or “parental leave.”
