New Podcast Slated for February 2022

I’m excited and must share with you why: I was beyond thrilled to have my daughter-in-law, Hannah, ask me over the holidays if I want to co-host a business podcast together. “YES, OF COURSE,” was my nano second reply. There’s nothing more exciting than her idea of co-hosting across the pond between England and Connecticut and across generations on a global podcast with a popular business theme.

Hannah Leykam is an amazing young woman with a successful entrepreneurial and corporate background in office management, product marketing, category management, and design who has been recognized for bridging sales, marketing, and products with the digital future. She excels in cross-functional team leadership and her creativity, continuous learning, drive, and motivation are qualities to behold.

And I am thrilled to return to podcasting and hosting. When I hosted and produced the “DINERS” TV Show for Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) we entertained 21M viewers in 6 states and the accompanying Those Diner and Motorcycle Guys podcast generated 1.8M+ global podcast listens. My “Out of Your Comfort Zone” TV interview series on Cablevision attracted 100k+ viewers/subscribers and the “Summit Your Life” radio show on WSTC/WNLK News-Talk Radio aired to 50k+ listeners and was featured in the internationally promoted Pepsi Refresh Project. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity across platforms to interview such iconic guests as actor Ed Asner (most honored male performer in the history of the Primetime Emmy Awards who starred in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Lou Grant”), Erin Ryder (SYFY’s “Destination Truth” and NatGeo’s “Chasing UFOs”), Dr. Ramani Dervasula (“CNN,” “E!,” “The History Channel,” “Today Show,” “Dr. Oz”), Jon Herington (Steely Dan), Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), Patrick Simmons (The Doobie Brothers), authors Jackie Collins and Steve Berry, CNBC Anchor Maria Bartiromo, SETI Senior Astronomer Seth Shostak, theoretical physicist and best-selling author author Michio Kaku, New York Times columnist Joe Nocera, comedians George Carlin and Alonzo Bodden, supermodel, actress and PETA activist Elisabetta Canalis, and so many more.

I can’t wait to for Hannah and me to launch the new podcast in February with brand new guests and entertaining and informational content to share with you.

That’s all I can tell you right now until we launch but stay tuned for more details…

  1. Hannah Leykam’s work is instrumental to the category management world! So excited to listen to this podcast. I just got some new planogram software https://www.scorpionplanogram.com and I’m hoping to add some serious heft to my resume. Fingers crossed the Leykam episode has some more category mangement insight.
