THE NEW INTERVIEW QUESTION: BE PREPARED TO ANSWER IT

There is a new interview question that is rapidly becoming standard during Covid-19: “What did you learn during the pandemic of 2020?”

Many of my clients report back to me after their interviews that prospective employers want to know how you’ve utilized quarantines and working from home to add to your skill-set that’s  transferable to the opportunity you’re applying for. The most obvious one that many candidates overlook is learning remote work skills, programs and software. Take stock of how you’ve constructively spent your pandemic time adding to your skills and be prepared to discuss them. Make sure to add these new skills to your resume and LinkedIn Profile.
